Jack explains the danger of tiny, multiplying, clothes eating robots, and how to deal with the threat!

Its a boy!

This is a shot from below. He is in the upper left pocket. This is 1 of 2 cocknballs shots, so its pretty safe to start getting clothes and furniture. Jack is very excited. He will get a bunkbed now. Grace is pretty excited about being a baby sitter in the future, and having a lil brother who will HAVE to do what she says.

Prodigy. He has taken over my guitar stand. I dont mind though, he is learning how to respect his instrument. Watch his left hand naturally make a bar chord. He wanted a drum set, and we almost got him one, but decided he needs to mature a bit first. Maybe Christmas or next Bday he will be ready. Grace says she doesnt want to play an instrument. Her art is her outlet. She has been very actively keeping a journal as well. She documents every event, most of the time as it is happening, so she wont forget any details. We went to the art store today to get supplies for her next school project. She will have the best one there. I'll post pics when we start, and finish.

Ahh, the circus. We ended up getting GREAT seats. We were on the ground floor, 20 ft from the ring. We showed up early, and were able to meet the performers, and they did a few tricks for and with the audience. This was a very intimate experience. The kids had a blast, and so did mommy and me. This was our anniversary outing, and it was a good time.

Jack is SO excited to finally be 5 years old. He has reached a new level in toys at the store. 5+ has been a goal of his for as long as he knew what it meant. We started the day by mailing Girl scout cookies. Everyone at the Post office knows his name, age, and energy level. So do half of Fountain city residents, at least the ones who came through while we were boxing up and packing things. Then we went to Mcdonalds. Yep, even the birds on the playground now know that Jack is 5. We then went to the pawn shop to get the kid sized guitar that he's had his eye on for awhile. Next, we walked down to Party city, where he picked his party theme, soccor. It was time to get Grace, then we were off to purchase tickets for the circus on Saturday. Finally, we came home, made his cake, and decorated. He got to pick what we ate for supper. (Ramen noodles, broccoli, and grilled shrimp, all his favorites ). We partied like nobody's business for the rest of the night.

8mp camera, and I cant get the damn thing to focus.

Pretty good haul. Puzzle of the US, an arsenal of play doh, markers, pens, pads, guitar, box full of every type of magnet (toy magnets) big bag of legos, and a tadpole terrarium (Granny's present). Everything he asked for, minus one of those Chinese drums that you rub your hands together and it has 2 strings with balls on them. Not sure where to get them, or what they're called.

Grace had fun too =)

The baby had a blast. Raegan even got to have a tiny sliver of cake. My beautiful Bride on our Anniversary eve. 11 YEARS!! She is such a succor!
On the real, Raegan is the greatest woman in the world. She is my soulmate. The adult of the house. I thank God every day for her, and how much she does for us. We've been through allot in 11 years, and Im looking forward to many more. I Love you girl!

I think there's something wrong with your phone Dad.

The sad thing is, I broke my last phone a couple months ago, and got this one with the insurance. I had this one in my pocket when I was pulling on a come along to get my truck out of a hole. It was cracked a bit when I first got it, but only cosmetic. It just got worse, then I dropped it after all and it was done for. On March 31, we are eligible for our new in 2 upgrade. After looking for payphones for a couple hours yesterday, we decided it would be best to go ahead and file another insurance claim in the meantime. With the preggo wife, its not worth the risk of her not being able to call me. The new phone will be here sometime today hopefully.
Time to wake up the neighbors...

I want to help daddy. Daddy, can I help? Im a good helper. I will help you Daddy. Do you like help daddy? Am I a good helper daddy?

Ok, yes son, yes you are, ok thanks, yes I do, yes you are. Just give me a minute and let me get all the leaves together.

I'll help daddy. He is taking too long. I'll just go do it all myself. Im a good helper.

Helping is easier than I thought. Im doing a good job. This is MY job. Daddy will be happy.

Lucy doesnt mind sharing her room with the kids. This comes in handy when Grace needs a shoulder to cry on. Lucy hears all of her issues and helps her get through the tough times.

Here comes spring!

Spring is so close now. The birds are returning, there are buds on the trees, and its getting warmer. Projects for this year will mostly be outside, including stuccoing the basement, fresh paint, new soffa and facia, gutters, support pillars for the porch, and a new roof. I'll be doing most everything, if not everything myself. Still working up the nerve to attempt the roof. More plans for the yard as well, another apple tree, and a few fruit bushes, as well as building up the tomato patch.
Jack is pretty excited about it all. He is a big helper. He turns 5 in 6 days, and we are taking him to the circus. Ringling Bros. has a new ring of doom, or something simillar, where you are right up in the action. I think we will get some balcony seats though. (60.00 for tickets is kinda steep imo) He started soccer practice yesterday, and we have a soccer get together today for just his team. He won the competition for throwing the ball in the furthest. He wasnt really trying, focused on everything except what he was doing. Sports come very easy to him. I think he will be good.
Grace is doing very good in school. She passed out papers to the class the other day! She is so smart. School isnt really a challenge at all. I think she gets very bored. She is doing very good at taking care of Lucy, and the hamsters. We are looking for a basset hound next. She wants to get one of each type of hound. She is teaching Jack how to make videos on her Apple. They are so funny. I'll get a couple of them Dled and post them if I can. Not sure if the programs are compatible with windows. She likes to watch movies and play PS3, xbox, and wii with her daddy. She likes strategy/action games, where she can help me figure out how to beat them. She is very good at problem solving, and thinking out of the box.
Raegan is showing pretty good now. She is so hungry for chocolate and thirsty for tea and coke, but she can have none of it. Her blood sugar is all over the place, and even bread sometimes spikes it out of range. Poor preggo lady, cant cure any of her cravings. Other than that, all tests point to a healthy bambino. High blood sugar makes the baby bigger, but can cause lung development problems later, and stillbirth. She is on top of everything, but it changes fast, and her insulin has to change with it. Kinda hard to keep up with. Im glad its not on me to keep track of all that. Her work just bought out a company that they have been working with for a few years. They hired a staff for each to do data collection, and put Raegan in charge of it all. They really love her there. I went up the other day and saw her office for the first time. DAMN is all I can say. I didnt realize how serious it was, what she does. Nice office.
