Snow, snow, go away!

There's not much to report, but it's been awhile since I put pics of the kids. It's been a long winter. It snows, and snows, and snows, and snows. It warms up, then freezes, then snows again. We have a bit of cabin fever, and have passed around a cough for weeks. The kids don't mind much, as they have been off of school a few extra days. I make them practice twice on those days. Their music is coming along great. They both had good report cards. Grace even got an A in PE. If you know Grace, that is a milestone. They have a piano recital in May. Maybe this time, Grace will participate. If not, oh well. She likes to play, and is really good at sightreading, so as long as she enjoys it for herself, that works. We got rid of the dogs, so I don't have to get out in the cold and fool with all of that anymore. It's really nice to be able to just take care of my kids now. We got bunk beds for the boys. It will be delivered on Thursday. Jack is very excited about that. I am too. We're gonna kick Luke out of the bed! Raegan is doing good at work. She found us a great babysitter, so we were able to go out on Valentine's day. We went to a local seafood restaurant that we have wanted to check out for awhile. It was a really nice place. The food was really good. It's not Louisiana, but probably about the best you can get this far north. Me and Luke spend most of our day jamming! Im learning a lot of Black Label Society right now. Zakk Wylde is awesome, and is really good to learn from. Luke really loves music, and he gets a very healthy dose of it daily.

Grace is starting to have hormone stuff. She is starting to show signs of becoming a young lady. I'm still in denial, but Raegan keeps telling me she is old enough. Oh boy.

The kids had fun the first few days of snow. We had at one time, about a foot of it. It stayed for a week or 2. The black ice on the roads surrounded our neighborhood, so we had to stock up on essentials and hunker down for a bit. All of the roads around us are hills and curves. You can get out, but getting back home is near impossible in those conditions. I had to park my truck at a school down the road and walk home in 5degree weather at one point. There were cars in ditches, in the woods, in peoples yards, and stuck in the road, everywhere.
Luke is growing up fast. He helps with EVERYTHING. Sometimes it's a pain, because he knows what should be done, and doesn't let me put anything off. He keeps me busy. He is very good at cleaning up after himself, and is very good at communicating with his pointing and grunting. He has several baby molars coming in right now. They all are coming in at the same time, so it's kind of rough on him, but he will be able to chew his food better very soon.
While Luke is getting brand new teeth, his big brother is losing all of his. He is missing his 2 front, and the little one you see there on the bottom right front. You thought he had a lisp before!

Goo. That snow would be fun for about two days, maybe. I can't believe you had to walk home! Those kids are growing up too fast-hormones/growing and losing teeth.
Where did the doggies go? Dogs are too much work, in my humble cat loving opinion;)
I'm glad Luke enjoys your music. I wish you would have shown off a little while we were there. Next time...

Mmmm. I miss y'all. I guess its about time for you to start looking for that perfect baseball bat...Jack is REALLY looking a lot like his daddy! Watch out when his hormones start surging! And I can't believe how fast Luke is growing, he's gotta meet Taryn again SOON! They'd have a blast. Love ya.

Snow snow snow! It's good for bringing the family closer together, right? Or further apart, I guess it depends on the family. haha!
Hormone stuff!!! Are you ready for all that? I can't believe it!
I love that Luke is a little task master for you! That's great!
Is Jack's tooth fairy a generous one? How did Raegan get to work in all the snow?

Million question comment. Ooops.

Cabin fever is no fun. I think in the summer can't wait for winter, no grass to mow, I'll be cooped up and can get lots of projects done inside, but that fever just drains me of ambition. 2 weeks of snow around Christmas time is enough for me. I think I wanna join the Snowbird society and live in Arizona during the winter months. We actually didn't get that much snow this winter, shoveled the drive maybe 3 times and it wasn't much to shovel. Guess it hit that side of the country this year, and England. It was very cold though.

Stacy http://www.knoxpets.org/showpet.asp?A02603500 Mindy didn't make the cut. We won't be getting any more pets. I'll post some stuff on youtube when I get it recorded.

Nikki Luke would love Taryn. They would have fun.

Dixie we played alot of wii together. the new mario bros games are awesome. No, we are not ready for hormone stuff. yes, Jack get's hooked up by the tooth fairy. He gets it all in quarters. he loses dollar bills, but he keeps track of quarters. He has his favorite gumball and toy machines mapped out, and saves them for when we go to those stores. Raegan's work shut down on the really bad days, and she had to call in a couple of times.

Mom Ya, we got all of your weather this year. It has never snowed here like this. Usually it snows once or twice a year enough to collect on the ground. I won't be planting a garden until March. Hopefully that will be the end of the frost this year.

Jack you are hilarious! I hope you get all your big teeth really fast. You are lucky cause both your Mom and Dad have gorgeous smiles, I'm sure you'll follow in there footsteps. By the way, how much does the tooth fairy pay for teeth these days?
