4th of July
We started out on the 4th pretty late. We took it easy, then headed over to one of the waterparks nearby. We ate at the mellow mushroom and ended up at the worlds fair park for dusk. They have awesome fireworks every year. They had a ferris wheel set up on one of the bridges with a great view of the park, and the fireworks. Sorry, no pictures. We waited in the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG line for the ferris wheel. We got on about a minute after the fireworks started, so we got to watch most all of it while riding. The kids loved it. It's so nice to be free and be able to have a day with your kids without worry. Just pick it up and go do what you want when you want. What a great place to live.

Yes-just the fact that we are free-we should be a very grateful and happy people. So cool you got to watch fireworks while on a ferris wheel! Building American memories.
Waterparks!!! Yay! Glad y'all had a good time. Happy Independence day!
Fun day! Thanks to you and Dad for taking part in defending our freedom!
It's so nice to have parks with sprinklers during the summer, thank you city officials for not pocketing ALL of the tax money. Keep it coming.
