My Little Girl is 9!!!!

Happy birthday Grace! My favorite little girl in the whole world. You are so special, and it makes me very happy to see you every day. I love picking you up from school, watching you hop to the truck, smiling. I love that you enjoy your pets so much, and take such good care of them. Your dogs are very lucky to have such a good master. Your little brothers are so lucky to have such a great big sister. You teach Jack so much, and you are so great with Luke. He really loves to see you come into the room. Me and your Mommy are the luckiest, though. We have the most special little girl ever. You make us so proud. You are doing so good in school, and are just a really cool person to hang out with. I cant believe you are growing up so fast. I remember when you were a little porcelin doll, with thick, thick, curly black hair. You are so beautiful, smart, funny, and kind. You are growing into a Great Young Lady. I love you

Luke had his 4 month Dr. visit this morning. He is 26" long, 17lbs 3oz. For all you percentile junkies, thats 90 and 90. His head is 50 pct. He got 3 shots, and didnt even cry. He was quietly chewing his hands for the entire visit, untill after the shots. Then he would not stop talking. He was calmly telling us how displeased he was with us in every way he knew how. We left the doctor, and picked up some Burger King for Grace. She was suprized to see us show up at her school for lunch. We are doing just the familly thing for her party. She picked out everything about it. Roast with rice and brown gravy for supper, with chocolate cake with chocolate icing, that she helped me make. When Mommy gets home, me and Grace are going to pick up her birthday present. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Thanksgiving

We took a quick trip to the Deep South for Thanksgiving. We started out Thursday in Picayune. These two got along famously. They had so much fun.

Lawson is a little man now. He is growing fast.

Meme is the best.

Brandon is Jack's new hero!

This proves that Jack is not the only one to be distracted easily. At least Ethan can focus.

Pretty girls

We then left, and headed to Ticfaw to see the other outlaws. I thought we had a group shot of everybody on my camera, but I was wrong. Stacy will have one on her blog.

Raegan's boys

Pawpaw and Opie
We left Saturday morning. This is Grace "Thinking about something". She was NOT sleeping, says she.

Jack was deep in thought, too.

We made a couple hour stop in Georgia to introduce Luke to his Mawmaw. They hit it off immediately. He was talking, and laughing right off the bat. She looked great. We kept her up a little late, but headed out as soon as the baby was asleep. It was good to see Mawmaw and Scotty. We missed Dedra. They are working so hard with their restaurants, not much downtime.

Put this on the blog Daddy

Jack is back. At 70lbs, its hard for ME to pick him up, but he has no problem. He is determined to crank out 20 several times a day now. He runs around with a 5lb weight doing curls too. Poor kid has too much energy.

Baby update

Luke really likes his big brother and sister. They have fun with him, too.

He learned this 5 month trick at 3 months. Now he does it every time he is on the mat. Back to front.

You see what Im working with?

So excited!

Poor guy just wants to get back to playing.

Another half-hearted smile.

Scary skelly for Halloween

They both liked their costumes. Jack can wear his to school, its a hoodie with a zipper.

The apple barn restaurant. Good food with a great view of the mountainside.

This is in front of our cabin, the waterfall was very low, due to no rain and late in the year. It was still very pretty, and a nice little spot to be.

Grace had fun with her boat

Jack put out the blanket, and got all the food for their little picnic. He is a very determined little guy. He had so much fun with Ayden. They got along great. Grace had alot of fun with her cousins, too. They were running back and forth through the house, with Ian doing his best to keep up.

After effects

We just got back from the Smokies. We had my parents, all my sisters, all their kids, and a couple of new brothers over for a week in the colorful Tennessee hills. We rented some cabins next to a waterfall, in the middle of nowhere, all the way in the back of a holler. It was fun, and we miss you all so much already. We are very depressed, now that the house is empty. I captured the moment after the last few people headed out. Im on a different PC for now, so I dont have all of our pictures uploaded yet, but here is a sneak peek of the calm after the storm.
